My boyfriend and I visited the other week after being a few years away. This is our first visit since the new owners bought the camp ground and we both give them two thumbs up! At check in, Brian was exceptional with his service, greeting us as soon as we got there.. check in was fast and he offered us to show us around the camp ground with us so we could pick out our camp site.. this ranked high for us, no one at any other gay camp ground we stayed at took the time or showed this type of service.. kudos! Our campsite was nice, clean, had a electric, private but close to the action. Pool is now heated and is perfect for late night swims.. the expanded deck is great and makes for more room for sunning.. naked or clothed.. Everyone is welcoming and friendly, seasonals at other camp grounds at times seemed "clicky" and standoffish to visitors.. not at Camp Davis.. we felt very welcome and fit right in, one seasonal came to us at the pool in the afternoon and asked if we was having fun and if we needed anything.. that was amazing to us and we felt right at home.. this was so much better then holidays with the family! Later that night we attended their theme night.. and it was a foam party.. wow.. do I need to say more? FUN! Once again the owners was making sure everyone was having a good time.. and can I say I think everyone was! After a good night sleep the morning sun cam up and slowly everyone was moving around, but still it was nice and quiet to enjoy your morning coffee. At check out the owners told us even though it was check out we could still enjoy the pool if we wanted too, once again we was shocked, most places we stayed once its check out your gone. The showers and restrooms are clean and centrally located for convenience. The req hall is large and the DJ is great and makes everyone dance. They always make a fire to warm up and everyone talks to each other and seems like everyone are old friends. We both have found this camp ground and our stay top notch and we give the new owners compliments for their service, friendliness, improvements, and a good time. We are definitely going back, actually have a cabin for July and looking forward to going back. If you haven't been there for awhile we both suggest coming back and seeing the improvements and having some fun.. and one more thing, Lucy is gone ..RIP.. miss the old smelly girl.. lol.. Happy Camper!
The photos shown here are NOT of Camp Davis on Redbrush Road. There are actual photos on their website. Do not be misled. Still the camp is a nice place to go.
Very friendly and welcoming
We were at Camp Davis for the Foam Party this past weekend. Let me tell you, we had the best time in any of the camp grounds that we have gone to. Brian and Dave, the owners are so welcoming and make you feel so comfortable. This campsite is much better than the bigger ones. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you have not been there before. If you have gone there before, I am sure we will see you there because we are going back for sure!!
